SCF Basketball wins their 2nd straight, defeating South Georgia Technical College by a score of 68-59.

After a bit of a slow start, the Manatees took a 5-point lead into halftime. The defense clamped down in the second half and the offense did enough to pull out the win.

Elijah Terry led the team with 16 points, and he was the most efficient from the floor, knocking down 54% of his shots. Terry was part of a productive SCF bench, as the bench accounted for 42 total points. 5 players off the SCF bench scored 5 points or more.

Terry also led the way with 16 rebounds, including 10 offensive boards -- both of which are career-highs.

The team begins conference play next Wednesday, January 11, when they take on Hillsborough Community College at home, starting at 7:00 pm.
