Coming off a string of strong performances, Skylar Wicks earned the Florida College System Activities Association's/NJCAA Region VIII's Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of November 28-December 4.

Wicks appeared in 3 games from November 28-December 4, scoring a combined 76 points, which culminated with a career-best 43 points scored against #9 ranked Gulf Coast State College on December 4.

Skylar is in his first season with the Manatees, transferring from NCAA Division I Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. Skylar has really dialed up his play lately. Over his last 6 games, he's averaged 27 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, and 4 assists per game. Skylar was instrumental in the team's November 25 come from behind victory against Georgia Highlands College, in which he scored 34 points in the 2nd half.
