Bradenton, Fla - For the second consecutive year, the Manatees Men's Basketball team has qualified for the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) State and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 8 Tournament.  SCF earned a berth by winning the Suncoast Conference Tournament.  The FCSAA State/NJCAA Region 8 Tournament is at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida.  The tournament begins March 4th and concludes with championship day on Saturday March 7th.  The winner of the tournament will qualify for the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

State College of Florida faces Tallahassee Community College in the quarterfinal game. The complete tournament bracket is available on the tournament website. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 pm ET. Tune in to the stream of the game through Emerald Coast TV.
