Bradenton, FL -- Defensive Specialist, Sydney Jaco, was named FCSAA Defensive Player of the Week for the week of October 8 - October 14.

This is the second time Jaco has been honored with an FCSAA Defensive Player of the Week award. For the past week, Jaco averaged 10 DIGS per set in 4 games played. This includes a brilliant 41-DIG performance during the Manatees' 7th win against Palm Beach State College on October 13.

Jaco currently leads the NJCAA in DIGS with 748.
