TYLER, TX- State College of Florida Tennis player, Chloe Murphy, earned the 2014 NJCAA Division 1 "Jovana Vasic Spirit of Competition" Award at the National Championship tournament. Players are nominated and selected by the coaches and officials at the tournament. Student-athletes are evaluated in the areas of fair play, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. This is the second year this award has been presented. It is particularly special as the namesake for the award, Jovana Vasic, played tennis at an FCSAA member school, St. Petersburg College.  The previous winner of this award was SCF's own Abby Martinez.
