Clearwater, Fla - After a perfect start to the opening day, the Manatees faced three worthy opponents on the second day of the JUCO Kick Off Classic. 

The Manatees began the day with a dominating performance against Richard Bland College (VA).  SCF needed just 5 innings to earn the 9-1 victory.  Carlee Lucas earns the win on the mound and went 2 for 3 with 4 RBI's at the plate.  Jessica Harney picked up 3 RBI's with a home run and Lindsey Hall was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's.

The Manatees defeated Georgia Highlands College on a walk off hit in the bottom of the 7th.  Courney Harper knocked in the game winning RBI as the Manatees won 4-3.  Sammi Grat took to the mound in the second game of the day earning the win.  She, also, was responsible for 3 RBI's in her 3 for 4 performance at the plate.

The final game of the day featured the Manatees against the Panthers of Palm Beach State College.  Lucas took to the mound for her second start of the day and earend her second win of the day.  Final score put the Manatees on top 4-2.  Lyndsey Hall went 1 for 3 at the plate with 1 RBI, Lucas 1 for 3 with 1 RBI, Taylor Engman 1 for 2. 

The Manatees completed the weekend with a 6-0 record.  SCF will play again February 2nd in Ocala against #1 College of Central Florida.
