Coaching Bio
Travis Nesby comes to State College Of Fla. after being the Associate Head Coach at Booker High School for the past 5 years. There he helped resurge the program back to one of the top ranked programs in the state. During his tenure at Booker High School, he trained and developed over 25 college basketball athletes (D1/2/3, NAIA & JUCO), 4 1st/2nd Team All-State Players, 17 All Area Players and 1 All-Area Player of year (6 Total Nominations).
Playing Career
Travis started his career at Carl Sandburg Community College. There he was team captain for two years and lead the school to the 2002 Region IV Championship (Runner-Up). Finishing his career in the Top 10 is school history in Points, Rebounds, Steals and Assist. Earning Arrowhead All-Conference 1st Team (Twice), Region IV All Tournament 1st Team (Twice) and was awarded Region IV Player the Week (4 Times) in his career. He then transferred to Georgia College & State University for his last two years. Where he was also the Team Captain for two years, though his two year there were plagued by injuries.
Family
Travis and his wife, Rachael have two daughters. Amara and Kali.
