SCF, Coach Tom Parks, Win First Game

The State College of Florida basketball team won their first game of the season 88-81 vs. Spartanburg Methodist on November 3.

First-year head coach, Tom Parks, receives his first win as a collegiate head coach after spending the previous 4 seasons as head assistant coach with Eastern Florida State College.

The player of the game for the Manatees was DeAndre Osuigwe, a transfer from NYACK College. Osuigwe shot 10-20 from the floor, including 2-5 from the three-point line. Osuigwe led the Manatees with 18 points.

Tre Alexandrea, D'Moi Hodge, and Isiah Dasher all scored double figures.

Cristnoff Scarborough led the Manatees with 12 rebounds.
