Basketball Wins 7th Game in Thrilling Fashion

New Port Richey, Fla - The Manatees used a strong second-half performance to deliver a come from behind victory Tuesday night at Pasco-Hernando State College. After going into halftime down 11 points, the Manatees made the right adjustments and defeated Pasco-Hernando 89-88. Joel Coffey hit the game winning free throw with 10 seconds remaining. Pasco-hernando had one last chance but missed a layup that was rebound by Coffey to seal the win for the Manatees.

Edwin Louis had a team high 26 points to go along with 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Cyrus Barnes provided a huge spark off the bench returning from a injury that had caused him to miss 10 games. Cyrus started his season off strong recording a double-double with 11 Points and 10 rebounds. Clarence Miles and Peyton Sestok both hit 3 three-pointers and recorded 11 points. Miles Wilson added 9 points and 8 rebounds.

The Manatees are at home Wednesday against Florida State College of Jacksonville at 7 PM.
