Ft. Pierce, Fla - State College of Florida Manatees could not squeeze out a road win Saturday.  SCF dropped a 84-69 contest to Indian River State College in Fort Pierce. The Manatees played great defense in the first half and went into halftime down just 2 to the 10-2 Pioneers. Indian River used a 21-6 run in the first 6 minutes in the second half to build a solid lead over the Manatees.  They would keep the lead for the rest of the game. The Manatees attempted to close the gap but Indian River just kept burying the 3 ball, which they hit 17 times. 

Andre Jackson scored a team-high 26 points for the Manatees, he also chipped in 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Amaru Bryant had 17 points and finished with 5 rebounds. Miles Wilson has 13 points and 7 rebounds and Elijah Jones brought great energy adding 6 points and 6 rebounds. 

The Manatees take a 6-4 record into a busy next week. SCF plays four games in 6 days.
