Jacksonville, Fla - State College of Florida Manatees went on the road Saturday and picked up a big win against Florida State College of Jacksonville. It came down to the wire as the Manatees escaped with a close 78-75 win.
The Manatees led at halftime 42-31, but Jacksonville closed the gap with a 10-0 run to start the second half. It was back and forth from there on out. The Manatees were able to get enough defensive stops and make the clutch shots in the closing minutes.
Peyton Sestok led all scorers with 21 as hit 7 three-pointers. Jacksonville native Miles Wilson had a good homecoming scoring 14 points and bringing down 5 rebounds. Andre Jackson also chipped into the winning effort with 8 points and 8 rebounds.
