Bradenton, Fla - State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) announces an open basketball tryout to recruit student-athletes for the 2016-2017 intercollegiate basketball team.  SCF participates as a member of National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA). The Manatees are coached by SCF Alumni, Elliot Washington who is entering his fourth year as head coach.  

Date: April 9, 2016 Tryout - Physcials must be submitted no later than April 8th at noon

Time:  4:00 pm

Location: Hal Chasey Gymnasium on grounds of SCF's Bradenton campus.  Click the link to see an SCF - Bradenton campus map (Gym is Building 17)

Who:  High School Seniors and College Students (must have a release and present it, if you are currently on an LOI at an NJCAA member school.) 

IMPORTANT:  Prospective student-athletes MUST provide a valid physical (within the past 12 months) clearing them for athletic participation and complete the waiver and release form (requires parent signature if prospective student is under the age of 18 yrs old).
