GAINESVILLE, Fla- SCF Basketball defeated FCSAA ranked #5 Santa Fe College on the road 81-78. The Manatee (3-19) maintained of up to 12 points to secure the win over the Saints.

SCF's offense came alive hitting 10-of-17 3-pointers. The Manatees were led by Deonte Hearns with 15 pts, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists. Sophomore, Laquon Kirce, added 14 pts, 10 assist, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Double digit performances were put up by Larry Keys (11 pts), Trey Bryant (12 pts), and Nathaniel Johnson (10 pts).

SCF is back in action on Wednesday, January 22nd at Polks State College to continue Suncoast Conference play.
