OCALA, Fla.- State College of Florida Men's Basketball traveled to face the current NJCAA National Champion Patriots in non-conference action last night. SCF was defeated 68-87 by College of Central Florida. The Manatees were only down by five at the half with a score of 29-34. CF gained momentum late in the game to seal the victory for the Patriots who are now (2-0).

SCF's offensive attack was led by sophomore standout, Obinna Oleka, who had 33pts and ten rebounds. Local product, Blake Harper and transfer Gabriel Dos Santos added 11 pts each.

The Manatees head to Palm Beach State College's "Battle at the Beach" Tournament on Friday.
