BRADENTON, Fla. - The State College of Florida basketball team used a 56-point second half to pull away from Indian River State College in the SCF Classic Sunday night.
Savad Garner's 22 points helped SCF to the 93-66 semifinal victory at Hal Chasey Gymnasium. The Manatees (12-3) will meet ASA College (NY) in the championship game Monday at 7 p.m.
Anders Haas poured in 18 for SCF while Denzel Myers and Isaiah Williams added 14 points each.
SCF maintained a double-digit lead throughout much of the second half after posting a 37-28 halftime advantage over the Pioneers.
