Bradenton, Fl. - Denzel Myers scored 22 points to lead the State College of Florida basketball team past Impact Academy 124-68 at Hal Chasey Gymnasium on Wednesday.
The Manatees (7-3) finished the night with six players in double-figures. Anders Hass recorded 21 points, all coming in the second half, while Obi Oleka added 19. Isaiah Williams (18), Larry Keys (12) and Michael Sanchez (10) hit the double-figure mark for SCF as well. The Manatees scored 69 points over the final half after holding a 20-point advantage after the first 20 minutes.
SCF will face Talahassee CC in the JUCO Shootout at 4 p.m. Saturday at the College of Central Florida in Ocala. The Manatees will conclude the Shootout against Pasco-Hernando CC Sunday at 12 p.m.
