Bradenton, Fla - Sophomore right fielder, Jaren Shelby, was named the NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week.  In the games played during the voting period, March 19-25th, Shelby batted .479 with five runs scored, two doubles, two home runs, and 13 RBI.  He posted three straight multi-hit games to end the week. Shelby leads the nation in stolen bases with 29.

This is the second time Shelby has been named NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week during the 2018 season. You can see Jaren Shelby and the SCF Manatees baseball team as they host Hillsborough Community College Saturday, March 31st.  First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
