Bradenton, Fla - Austin James was named the Florida College System Activities Association and National Junior College Athletic Association Region 8 Player of the Week for the games played February 19-25.  James batted .455 (10-22) with seven runs scored, one double, one home run, 10 RBI, and three stolen bases during the voting period.  The sophomore shortstop hit safely and recorded at least one RBI in four of the five games, helping the Manatees to four wins.  

This is the first time James has earned the Player of the Week honors this season.  You can see Austin James and his Manatees this Saturday at 1:00.  Wynn Field and the Manatees will host to Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
