Bradenton, Fla - Brendon Little lead the Manatees on the field against Florida Southwestern State College on Wednesday. While he was on the mound pitching for the Manatees, who were on the way to a 7-5 victory, the NJCAA was bestowing honors upon him.  

One day after being named the NJCAA Region 8 Pitcher of the Week, the NJCAA named him as the NJCAA Pitcher of the Week.  Little's 15 strikeout win against Suncoast Conference opponent South Florida State College was impressive during the March 27 to April 2 voting period.  He didn't allow a walk and only gave up one run in eight innings of work.  

Brendon Little finished Wednesday's game with seven innings pitched, allowing two runs on five hits.  He struck out ten and didn't allow a walk. After the game, in the team huddle, he learned about the NJCAA Pitcher of the Week honors.
