Little Named Pre-Season All-American by Baseball America

Durham, NC - Baseball America has released the Pre-Season All-American selections for the 2017 season.  Baseball America annually polls major league organizations' scouting departments to vote on the team and make their selections based on performance, talent and professional potential. This year 17 of the 30 teams participated, giving a solid cross-section of how scouts view the college talent heading into the 2017 season.

In the past, the Preseason All-America team has been a predictor both of the first round of
the draft and of team success. Five members of the 2016 preseason first-team became first-round
draft picks last June.

Left-handed pitcher, Brendon Little, was named to the third-team of this honorary team.  He is the only junior college baseball player to be honored.  Additionally, he is one of two left-handed pitchers to earn enough votes to make the All-America team as full-time pitchers.
