Bradenton, Fla - Manatees baseball defeated Chipola College 4-1 and 8-1 in a double header at Wynn Field. Gabe Moore picked up the victory in game one and Ryan Ahern earned the save. Richie Rivera had 2 hits including a triple.
In Game 2, Tyler Bench threw 4 strong innings while Vlad Nunez picked up the win in relief. Garrett Hall and Richie Rivera each homered while Jose Lopez had 2 hits including a 2 run double.
SCF improved to 15-6 on the season. The third game of the series will be played Sunday, 1:00, at Wynn Field.
