Avon Park, Fla - SCF traveled to Avon Park and won our first conference game of the season. The Manatees won, 9-4, over South Florida State College. 

Ryan Ahern picked up the win in relief.  He threw the final 5.1 innings allowing only one run on two hits with seven strikeouts. Ahern earned his second win of the season.

Jose Lopez reached base in all four plate appearance.  LOPEZ had three hits, a walk, and knocked in two RBIs.  Tyler Romanik also produced three  hits and an RBI.  Middle infielder, Keshawn Lynch, was responsible for two hits, two RBIs and reached base on two walks.  Also of note were Reilly Johnson who added two hits and Ryan Miller hit a three run double. 

SCF improved to 16-9 overall and 1-2 in the Suncoast Conference.  The Manatees play Florida Southwestern Saturday at 1:00 in Bradenton.
