Bradenton, Fla - State College of Florida Athletics is excited to announce the inaugural Women's Beach Volleyball Tryouts for the 2020 season. All currently enrolled SCF students are invited to participate in this tryout on Wednesday January 15th. The tryout will take place on the Bradenton campus at 3:00. All participants must provide proof a valid physical (within the last 12 months) and complete the tryout waiver. Scholarships opportunities may be available.
Beach volleyball is the latest sport added by National Junior College Athletic Association. It has been identified as an emerging sport. For years SCF has participated in beach volleyball as part of the indoor team. Numerous Manatees have earned beach volleyball scholarships at NCAA Division I and II institutions. The Manatees are excited to continue to be involved in the sport's development and growth nationally.
