Baseball

Went 2-1 in a trip to Palatka, FL. Manatees return Monday 2/26 vs. Pasco-Hernando at 3:00 pm. Their record stands at 14-6-1.

• Saturday, Win vs. East Georgia College, 7-5
• Saturday, Win vs. Chipola College, 13-10

Softball

The Manatees softball team swept both games of their double-header versus Sante Fe College, 5-1 & 4-3. They return on Wednesday 2/28 versus Oakland Community College. Games start at 4:00 and 6:00 pm. 

Game #1 - SCF 5 , Sante Fe 1

SCF trailed 1-0 until the 5th inning when they erupted for 5 runs. Leadoff hitter Taylor Engman went 3-3, a double, and 2 RBI, providing the only extra-base hit of the day.

Freshman, Kyria Holcomb, went 1-2 with 2 RBI.

Starter, Sammi Grat, provided five-innings allowing 1 run, which came on a solo home-run. Her record improves to 7-1.

Lauren Stalvey pitched the final two innings to earn her second save. 

Game #2 - SCF 4 , Sante Fe 3

SCF took the lead in the bottom of the 1st on a Brittney Pressler RBI single. They eventually trailed 2-1 heading into the bottom of the 6th before adding 3 runs. Brittney Pressler scored on a Nicci Palumbo RBI single. Madison Yoder doubled in 2 to re-establish the lead for the final time. 

Brittney Pressler pitched 7 innings and allowed 3 runs, earning her 8th win of the year. 

Basketball

SCF Basketball loses on the road to St. Petersburg College in the 1st round of the Suncoast Conference Tournament, 75-62. This loss ends their season. The Manatees finished with a record of 13-17.

Tennis

SCF tennis loses on the road to ASA College, 8-1.
